LEVEL I: AMI’s acclaimed six-week course teaches you how to apply meditation principles to every situation. This complete “self-care health program” includes all the Beginner’s Meditation material plus breathing techniques, nutrition counseling, easy-gentle yoga exercises, instruction on how to make the best possible choices and lifelong support for your meditation practice. It provides you all the tools you’ll need to ease stress, reduce pain, boost your immune system, heal relationships, enhance your problem solving ability, find inner peace, happiness and security.
The first leg is Self-Care.

Self-care is an essential survival skill. Self-care refers to daily practices that you can engage in to reduce stress and maintain and enhance your short and long term health and well-being. By maintaining a daily Self-care program you’ll be able to fulfill all your personal and professional commitments effectively and rewardingly.
Practicing Self-Care Will Help You:
• Identify and manage the challenges you face that often lead to stress, burnout or interpersonal difficulties.
• Achieve a healthier and more rewarding balance in your life by learning how to actualize the intuitive power of your mind.

Mindful Meditation in a Chair
As part of our Self-care program, mindfulness meditation is taught in a straight back chair. The practice is designed for your body to remain completely relaxed, stable and comfortable.
