Help Keep the Wisdom of the Ancient Sages Alive
Dear Students, Donors, Initiates and Friends,
For nearly three decades you have faithfully enabled AMI to meet the rising costs of presenting valuable, ongoing classes (at the Home Center, online, and elsewhere) and of maintaining a safe, inspiring and renewing environment for all who can benefit from AMI’s teaching. If AMI’s work has made a difference in your life, and if you believe it can make the lives of others more rich and meaningful––please give your support now.
As a token of our gratitude, donors contributing $1,000 or more will have their name inscribed on a special plaque at AMI. We understand that this level of giving might not be the right fit for everyone, and in appreciation of every contribution received, all donor names will be listed in the Welcome Brochure at AMI. Every donation makes a difference.
Our mission is to shine a ray of light into the world by awakening individual hearts and minds to their inherent creative, divine and life-enhancing powers––and to help all people use those powers to enrich their own lives and the lives of those around them.
The future of AMI rests in the same place where it all began––it still rests with caring individuals like you, who are striving to make this world more conscious and compassionate––every day. We wish you a healthy and rewarding summer, and thank you for helping AMI shine this light.
In loving service, from the AMI Board of Directors–
Tony Santilli MD, Anita Stotts MD, Kristin Kaelber MD, Bob Iwaniec DC, Valerie Chakedis Ed.D., Amy Laskowitz, André Tremblay, George Mayer, and Melanie Gloeckner
Make a Donation from Your IRA
If you are at least 70 1/2 years young, owners of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) can make direct charitable contributions to qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations—such as AMI—through a transfer from their IRA custodian.
This type of donation, known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), may offer significant tax advantages by reducing your taxable income. In fact, you can use all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) to make the gift, potentially lowering your tax liability by the donated amount.
We recommend speaking with your tax advisor to determine whether a QCD is right for you. If it is, AMI’s experienced staff is available to work directly with you and your IRA custodian to ensure the process is smooth and hassle-free.
BENEFITS OF MAKING A QCD TO AMI
You’re giving back
You help AMI meet the rising costs of presenting valuable, ongoing classes and maintaining a safe, inspiring and renewing environment for all.
Counts toward IRS-required RMDs
If you’re age 73 or older and need to take RMDs, your QCD counts toward your annual IRS requirement.
Lowers your taxable income
With a QCD, the distribution does not get treated as income to you, reducing your risk of entering a higher tax bracket.
