The Science of Creativity is course is offered through The Jenness Cortez Teaching Museum—a place where art becomes a living laboratory for understanding how creativity unfolds. Here, creativity is not limited to artistic production. It becomes a way of thinking, choosing and living.
This six-week experiential course designed for people across disciplines who want to deepen both their creative practice and their understanding of themselves. Offered live online or in person at the Jenness Cortez Teaching Museum, it brings together artists, educators, entrepreneurs, and anyone drawn to living with greater awareness and purpose. Rather than focusing on technique alone, the course invites participants into a direct exploration of how creativity actually arises from within.
Creativity is not a rare gift or a product of effort alone, but a natural outcome of inner coherence. Through guided exercises, reflection, and shared dialogue, participants learn to observe and work with their own mental processes. As scattered or conflicting inner states become more integrated, clarity and insight begin to emerge organically.
The course blends elements of art, psychology, and scientific inquiry, offering a structured yet deeply personal experience. Participants engage in practices that transform thoughts, words and actions into clarity, creativity and confidence. This process not only supports creativity, but also enhances decision-making, communication, and overall well-being.
By the end of the six weeks, many participants find they have developed a more reliable connection to intuition and a greater sense of confidence in their lives—both personally and professionally.
This course is offered in-person at The Jenness Cortez Teaching Museum and on ZOOM.
