A New Handbook to Help You Tune In to Your Conscience
and Live the Happy, Healthy, Fulfilling Life You Desire

The Key to Unlock Limitless Wisdom and Creativity and Solve All of Life’s Challenges

Each of us knows how it feels to make the right choice. The true choice. When our outer actions reflect our inner wisdom, we feel positive, energized, creative, loving, and fulfilled. So why do we sometimes ignore that wisdom and make bad decisions? The problem lies in our mind…and the solution lies there too.

Your Conscience, a new book by AMI Founder Leonard Perlmutter, helps us understand how to train the mind to make choices that lead to the kind of life we want to live. This short, powerful handbook teaches that we already have everything we need to live a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. We must simply learn a few tools to access our own unlimited wisdom and creativity.

What You Will Learn
  • The Law of Karma: every action leads to a consequence
  • The mechanics behind the Law of Karma: every action begins with a thought
  • Two categories of thought: one leads to passing pleasure and pain, the other leads to perennial joy
  • How the power of your attention can bring certain thoughts to life
  • The Four Functions of the Mind: Conscience, Ego, Logic/Senses, and Unconscious Mind, and how to quell sibling rivalry to hear the quiet, brilliant voice of the Conscience
  • The Bridge of Yoga: base your outer actions on your inner wisdom through reliance on the Conscience
  • Ahimsa: the highest principle of Yoga – non-violence, non-harming, non-injury
Four Functions Of The Mind American Meditation Institute
Four Functions of the Mind

To explain the workings of the human mind, Yoga Science presents a conceptual diagram: a wheel with four spokes that turn it, powered by the Wisdom of the Soul. The rim of the wheel represents the human body and the actions we take every day. No movement can occur in the body until there is movement in the spokes of the wheel, which represent the Four Functions of the Mind: 5 Senses and Logic, Ego, Unconscious Mind, and Your Conscience. Ideally, they work together to formulate every decision, large and small – but the Conscience must have the last word over the loud voices of the others if we are to live our lives with purpose.

Simple and Practical Experiments

Change and growth must start small in order to last. Your Conscience offers a range of experiments for beginners (and advanced practitioners!) to try:

  • Food choices
  • Focusing your attention
  • Strengthening relationships
  • Simple breathing exercises to calm the mind
  • Preparation for sleep
  • Telling the Truth and avoiding the non-Truth

The experiments provide a roadmap to rely on the Conscience in every instance, for every decision, in every relationship. Wisdom, creativity, love, joy, and good health will inevitably follow.

As you experiment with my easy-to-use instructions for coordinating the Four Functions of the Mind, including your Conscience, you’ll discover the unlimited wisdom already at the core of your being. Then, as you bring that wisdom to life, you’ll meet every challenge with confidence and creativity.

“YOUR CONSCIENCE” is a gift for humanity. It is full of the practical wisdom we all need in order to accomplish what our Creator put us here to accomplish. Leonard Perlmutter’s sub-title of this book could be interpreted as egotistical by those who do not know him or have not read his book. “The Key to Unlock Limitless Wisdom and Creativity and Solve All of Life’s Challenges.” Where does he get the nerve to say he can help us solve all of life’s challenges? He gets it from his experience and wisdom. This book is indeed a treasure to read and learn from. My statement is coming from my heart, and my feelings about the book aren’t written just to please the author. When we live only with a future that’s created unconsciously we have no awareness of what we are creating. But when we incorporate intuition and bliss into the experience of living, our consciousness creates a future that can solve both our problems and those of the world. Read and experiment with Perlmutter’s guide book and you’ll discover your true Self. Then you can become the co-creator of a life that brings bliss and reward to you and the world.
