Easter and Passover Meditation & Satsang

Sunday Morning, April 17, 2022   •  9:30 – 11:00am ET

Both Easter and Passover teach the same yogic Truth: when we consciously choose to escape our own mental house of bondage, we see that the death of each debilitating habit clears the way for a resurrection to a higher consciousness and the freedom to dwell in the Land of Milk and Honey.

— LEONARD PERLMUTTER (Ram Lev)

WHAT HAPPENS AT YOUR SUNDAY AMI MEDITATION AND SATSANG?

The schedule will be approximately:

9:30 – 9:35       Welcome and announcements
9:35 – 10:10     Guided meditation by Leonard (Ram Lev)
10:10 – 10:30   Leonard (Ram Lev) will share a reading
10:30 – 11:00   Satsang (a practical, interactive discussion led by Leonard (Ram Lev) and Jenness Perlmutter)

WHAT KIND OF MEDITATION DO YOU PRACTICE?

The seated meditation practiced at AMI is known as mantra meditation. You simply sit in a straight-back chair with your head, neck and trunk straight, or on the floor with your legs in a cross-legged yoga posture if that is more comfortable. You will be asked to close your eyes and concentrate your silent attention on any name of the Divine Reality that you are most familiar and comfortable with.

Do not worry if you have not been given a mantra from a qualified teacher; that is true for a large number of the participants. Here are some suggestions from different traditions:

  • Jesus
  • Lord Jesus Christ
  • Ave Maria
  • Barukh attah Adonai
  • Allah
  • Rama
  • Om namaha Shivaya
  • Om mani padme hum

The actual period for meditation begins with the sound of a bell. A reading and group discussion follow the meditation.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS FOR THE MEDITATION SESSION?

Loose, comfortable clothing is best.

IS THERE A CHARGE?

No, the Sunday AMI MEDITATION and satsang is free. When we met in person, we gratefully accepted donations. If you are so moved, you can always make an online donation here to AMI to support all our teaching classes, workshops and visiting speakers.
